**************JustRite 025 Inside Out

This card challenged me! Scanning the stamped image, maximizing and minimizing it, making copies, cutting and cutting for dimensional layers (do you see the 4 layers in the flower?), and finally choosing papers and embellishments. Ready? I chose stamps from the JustRite stamp set: My Garden and Borders. For this card I used: Lumin Arts paints, Smooch, Liquid Pearls, and Copics to obtain the flower colors. A Cuttlebug folder, May Arts ribbon, pop dots, Flowersoft, rhinestones by (?), and assorted papers were additional "ingredients used. To put it all together, I cut the borders then linked them in a daisy chain, turning them this way and that go make them all work together. Lastly was deciding which would be the inside which the outside. A true Inside/Outside card perhaps.

*********************** Salute to America-JustRite Challenge 024

I made this card following the concept outline for the JustRite Challenge 024. The only stamp used on this card was from the JustRite oval borders embossed in gold then highlighted with red and blue copics. With added pearl strips, patriotic ribbon, buttons, embossed cuttlebug stars, and sponged distress ink completed this salute to America card. How fun, the who card turned into a "flag"!

*************************Star Light

I was challenged by this sketch until I found the piece of paper with stars. Add the Star Light rubber stamp (unknown) the moon/star rubber stamp (HeroArts) and the large star rubber stamp (Judikins) and I had the basis for this card. Frame the card with a narrow piece of ribbon, add the brad, pink grossgrain ribbon, and a couple coordinating button and a couple pieces of glittery paper and the card came together. Now I have the Baby Shower card that will go along with the Pastel Star Afghan (previous blog).

**********************Pastel Star Baby Afghan

From a purchased kit (Mary Maxim) I love making this baby afghan using Bernat Baby Coordinates yarn. Using double strands of yarn allows for the soft blending effect between colors. A diameter of 50 inches point to point, makes this a large afghan. Beautiful isn't it?

**************************Happy for Ewe

Happy for Ewe was patterned on a Mojo144 sketch. Used on this card is My Minds Eye paper (thanks again MJ), silver paper, ribbon, pearls, Spellbinders label ?, and a happy little sheep rubber stamp that has no company identified. "Happy" is a portion of a stamp that also bears no company name.

Following Mojo Monday Week 143 sketch idea I created this tonal card. The paper is My Minds Eye (thanks MJ), Stamp is from Rubber Stampede with Mays Art Black Silk Ribbon, a black Imaginisce flower with a few Swarovski crystal accents - such sparkle!

*********************Layers Upon Layers

Do you count 13? Somewhere on the vast internet I saw a similar card made (I apologize to the original card maker, I don't remember where). Paper becomes the highlight of this card embellished with ribbon and Hero Arts Gemstones and sparkles. A favorite Elzybells stamp seemed perfect as the center of this layer upon layer card. Don't look too closely...Copic markers will bleed the stamped image if you use Stazon or other solvent ink. Use Memento Ink!
