Pop-Up Gift Card Holder

Following Grace's detailed tutorial ( ) was the challenge

spotlighted at Joans Garden.  Grace Nywening  provided a detailed tutorial that walked you through the creation of a fabulous pop-up gift card holder/card.  Hooray for my Scor-Pal which allowed me to create the mountain and valley folds that created the clever pop-up which was then attached to the inside of the base card.  At 109 degrees outside,  I just was't motivated to go procure a "real" gift card to insert in the holder, but I did have a bit of gold cardstock and a scrap of paper left over from the card decorating ....
To decorate the card, I used 2 coordinating papers from the Melody Ross Homespun designer collection.
Stamps used  were Heartfelt Bella Rose and Hero Arts (Happy Birthday embossed with PSX Claret ). Bella Rose Die Cut  and Cherry Lynn die cuts were used along with a Martha Steward butterfly punch.  May Arts sheer ribbon, dew drops and stickles on the butterfly punches were used to further embellish this gift card presentation.  Thank you Grace and Joan.
