Oragami Flower

Flowers galore... have stamps and dies, markers and chalks.  I love making cards with flowers as a central theme.  So when Joan's Garden offered a challenge to make a flower using a die I decided to experiment a bit.  I found directions to make this flower using Spellbinders scalloped circles and oragami folds..  Gathered lace, surrounds the flower and corner curls further directs focus to the flower.  I always love pearls and gems, so of course those were used too.  The dark background was created using mica powders and black paper.
Supplies:
Paper: Black Cardstock, K & Company
Die: Spellbinders ScallopCircles
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug elegant Swirls
Misc: Pearl Ex, Lace, DewDrops, Pearl Swirls, pink rhinestone
