What a wonderful idea....a challenge that encompasses a technique. I want to play!!! So, after reading directions that explained how to create the cracked glass, it was time to choose a perfect stamp. The floral posy from JustRite's Plant a Little Love set. I wondered how it would crack if I used glitter to color the stamped image, so glitter was used to color the flower. Crack, crack and the flower was ready to use to create a card. Using a Spellbinders circle I cut out the flower and also cut out a circle on the card front. The card cover was covered with a piece of purplish specialty paper, with a bit larger circle cutout. A few Pima flowers, Swarvoski crystals were used to accent the card. A purple organza ribbon and bow added the final flourish to my first ever cracked glass card. What I discovered is I like this technique and will certainly do more cards using it.
SUPER pretty - love that you tried something unusual and look at the gorgeous result. THanks for gettin crackin with JUGS this week AND for supporting JustRite Stamps.
